Hospitals need to have a stable supply of blood to be able to help patients who require it.

Once again, the Student Association of MUIC (SMO Som-O), in collaboration with Siriraj Hospital, held a blood donation drive among Mahidol University International College (MUIC) students, staff, lecturers, and others.

The event was held at A235 Exhibition Hall on the 2nd Floor of Aditayathorn Building on May 21, 2025.This was the third time that SMO Som-O and Siriraj Hospital collaborated to host a blood donation event during Academic Year 2024-2025.

Many donors also invited friends and family members to join the blood donation event. In addition, SMO Som-O gave out cute stickers to the hundreds of donors, both students and staff. The blood donors truly embodied one of Mahidol University’s Core Value of Altruism, contributing to community service while raising awareness of the importance of blood donation.

SMO Som-O expressed its gratitude to the blood donors and wished Siriraj Hospital all the best as it continues to save more lives, this time with the helping hand of the MUIC community.
