Students from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) traded books for paintbrushes on April 6, 2026, as they dedicated a full day to restoring the facilities at Wat Don Sao Kiad School in Nakhon Pathom province.

Organized by the Volunteer Club, the “one-day construction camp” brought together dedicated students to improve the learning environment for local children. Volunteers tackled a range of tasks, from repairing damaged infrastructure and performing essential maintenance to applying fresh coats of paint to school buildings. Working in small, collaborative groups, the university students revitalized the school, creating a safer and more inspiring space.

The initiative not only enhanced the school's physical condition but also provided MUIC students with a hands-on lesson in leadership, teamwork, and community engagement. The project successfully strengthened the bond between the college and the local community, fostering a spirit of volunteerism and mutual support that extends far beyond the campus walls.
