MUIC’s Food Science Students Compete in FoStat Nestle Quiz Bowl

Four students from the Food Science and Technology program of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) participated in the FoStat Nestle Quiz Bowl on June 15, 2024 at BITEC, Bangkok.

Over 60 university teams competed in the FoStat Nestle Quiz Bowl, with the MUIC team garnering 6th Place.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Nirutchara Laohaprasit and Ajarn Chutamas Jayuutdiskul accompanied the MUIC team as advisors.

This academic quiz competition in Thailand aimed to stimulate the interest of Food Science and Technology students, encourage them to be more engaged and enthusiastic in their studies and to spur them to apply their knowledge and skills into practical endeavors, which is essential for developing effective food science professionals.

Additionally, this event aimed to strengthen the student community within the Food Science and Technology program and promote collaboration among faculty members in food technology, thereby contributing to the future development of the country's food industry.
