The Nature Lovers Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized a donation drive where participating students donated empty plastic bottles and waste papers. The activity was held from May 5 to June 30, 2023.

The items collected will be donated to Green Way and Send Plastic Home where they will be recycled into new products (upcycled bottles, clothing, notebooks and others).

During the activity, 29 participating students expressed happiness at given the chance to save the planet by recycling their used plastic trash. They also learned new and creative ways of dealing with trash along with being encouraged to be mindful of the environment.

The club said it was able to collect over 180 pieces of plastic bottles and papers. The activity allowed MUIC students to experience recycling and be made aware that there are multiple ways to dispose of their trash and bring about benefits to others. The club expressed its thanks to the MUIC students for participating in the club’s activity.
