The Business Administration (BA) Division of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) successfully hosted the first CFA Talk Series under the theme “Finance in a Shifting World in the Era of Trump 2.0” at Charinyarasami Hall in Aditayathorn Building, featuring leading experts from Thailand’s finance industry.
The event, held on June 27, 2025, began with a keynote speech by Mr. Kasem Prunratanamala, CFA, Director and Head of Research at CGS International Securities (Thailand), who shared insights on investing in a rapidly changing global landscape.
A panel discussion followed. Entitled “How Trump 2.0 Policies Hit Financial Markets,” it had expert panelists including Mr. Chanant Charnchainarong, Board Member of FIPC (Bank of Thailand) and CMSB (SEC Thailand); Mr. Tapanan Rattananate, CFA, Executive Director and Head of Investment Specialist at Kasikorn Bank; Mr. Akkarawat Ruengkit-akra, CFA, Senior Vice President at T&B Media Global; and Mr. Ratchanard Wangrungarun, CFA, Assistant Fund Manager at Principal Asset Management.
The event concluded with interactive roundtable sessions where students explored careers in finance, AI trends, ethics, and certifications with the experts from the panel discussion session, also joined by Mr. Rodomlert Anantachina, CEO of Mission To Top U.
The BA Division expressed its thanks to all the speakers and participants for making the event both insightful and inspiring.
