Following the Gender Festival in honor of Pride Month, GENSCAPE Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized a guest speaker event and art exhibition on the topic of “Circle of Life” on June 14, 2023 at Activity Area, 2nd Floor, Aditayathorn Building.

This event prompted MUIC students to acknowledge the importance of embracing diversity and imperfections from the perspective of art. As the event unfolded, the guest speakers, namely, Khun Pattera Puttisuraseat, Khun Watcharin Francis Angus, Khun Wanchai Chankhunthod, Khun David Bigander, and Khun Settha Mateepratchyankulwalked the audience through their inspirations in writing the book entitled, “Circle of Life” depicting various aesthetic portraits and stressed that beauty is indeed, infinite. An impressive remark was made by Khun Pattera, who mentioned her refusal to accept any profits generated through her project because art has an intrinsic value.

Towards the end of the session, participants had the opportunity to appreciate various artworks along the activity area. The club said the theme of this event aligned with its objectives of advocating for self-confidence and self-acceptance. There were 31 students who participated in the event.
