MUIC Celebrates Songkran 2024

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) held “MUIC Songkran 2024” to celebrate the festive Thai lunar new year on April 9, 2024 at the Ground Floor of MUIC Building 1.  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Associate Dean for Finance and Human Resources represented the Dean and delivered the opening remarks.

There were many Thai traditional activities such as the bathing rite of the Buddha image (“Song Nam Phra”), pouring of sacred water on the hands of the former Deans, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Maleeya Kruatrachue, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Rassamidara Hoonsawat, and former MUIC executive, Asst. Prof. Anchalee Pongpun (“Rod Nam Dam Hua”), and receiving the Thai New Year’s Eve blessing from them; IC popular vote, water games, photo booth, challenge games, Thai massage workshop, and Thai dessert workshop.
