MUIC Executive Co-organizes Lake Constance Graduate School’s Study Week

An official of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) recently played a pivotal role in the successful International Week, an ongoing and executive education initiative orchestrated by the Lake Constance Graduate School at Constance University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Constance, Germany, held from October 2 to October 6, 2023.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Claus Schreier, Assistant Dean for Research and Academic Activities and a faculty member of the Business Administration Division, assumed the role of academic co-organizer and co-head of the study week program, primarily tailored for MBA and Executive MBA students. The overarching theme for the study week in Germany was “The Asian Century: Country Knowledge and Management Competence in Asia.

Dr. Schreier delivered a thought-provoking lecture titled “International & Intercultural Management – Thailand, its Economy, and Business Culture,” during which he shared his insights about the Kingdom of Thailand. The audience, composed mainly of full-time working students occupying middle to higher management positions and driven by a fervent curiosity about Asia, gained valuable perspectives from his discourse. Furthermore, the program encompassed a diverse array of lectures focusing on various Asian countries, such as Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, China, India, and Taiwan.

The participants hailed mainly from Switzerland, notably representing the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, a valued university partner of MUIC. This cross-cultural exchange fostered a rich and enlightening experience for all involved.
