Hotel Design Perspectives Certificate (12 Credits)

The hotel design perspectives module aims to provide students with the perspectives of design focusing on “hotel” – to understand the relationships between the operation and design regarding how they impact each other. The courses in the certificate program will ground the knowledge for students in terms of theories and concepts of front-of-the-house operations and core products of hotel businesses. Furthermore, the foundation and principles of 2D design will be provided in order to equip students with design creation and implementation. Finally, students will be guided to apply aforementioned knowledge and skills into planning and implementing hotel facilities design.
