After being nominated by your home university, you must complete the online exchange application or visiting online application and submit the electronic required documents within the deadline.

  • All applicantion documents must be submitted before the deadline below:

  • It would take about three weeks for the office to consider your application. The official letter of acceptance and the letter for visa application will be issued to all incoming students after the application deadline.
  • Non-native English speaking applicants must submit official results from the TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic, or Pearson PTE Academic. MUIC will also consider the results of other major English language tests.
  • A student is required to have a TOEFL iBT score of 69 with Writing 22, an IELTS score of 6.0 with Writing 6.0, or equivalent.
  • If you are an exchange student, you must enroll a minimum of 12 credits and a maximum of 16 credits per trimester.
  • If you are a visiting student (fee paying), you must enroll a minimum of 12 credits and a maximum of 20 credits per trimester.
  • You will receive an email from us along with a class schedule and pre-registration form. You must choose additional 2 or 3 alternative classes in case the classes you want to take are not available this trimester or in case there is a scheduling conflict with other courses or with final examinations.
  • Yes, you are strongly suggested to apply for a Non-Immigrant visa – ED (Non-ED) to enter Thailand. You must obtain the appropriate visa for study at MUIC.
  • After receiving the official acceptance and visa letter from the Student Exchange Unit, you should apply for Non-Immigrant Visa “ED” (Education or student visa) at the nearest Royal Thai Embassy or consulate in your country of origin.
  • No, all incoming students are strongly recommended to live in off-campus accommodations. There are many private apartments close to campus, and most private apartments provide a shuttle van service to the campus, free of charge. You should arrange for your accommodation before leaving your home country.
  • All exchange and visiting students are recommended to arrive during the airport pick up services. You can find dates of airport pick up service here:

If you woul like to use the airport pick up service, you are required to sign up and provide your flight details on our online registration. The link will be sending to you after you have been accepting to study at MUIC.

  • We highly recommend attending orientation as it is an excellent opportunity to ask questions that may arise during your first days at the University.
  • All exchange and visiting students must have international insurance while studying at MUIC.
  • The insurance that you purchase should show that you are covered for the duration of the time you are studying here at MUIC. The coverage should include emergencies, accidents, and medications as well as general medical coverage for outpatient and inpatient services.
  • The student uniform can be purchase upon your arrival on the campus. There are uniform shops just opposite campus.
  • MUIC provides a prayer room. The prayer room is Room 2301, MUIC Building 2.
