What makes MUIC an attractive destination for inbound exchange students? What makes MUIC a standout institution for foreign students? We interviewed four inbound students who attended during the 2nd Trimester of AY 2024-2025 and what they shared is a confirmation of MUIC’s strengths.

Degree Program: Biochemistry Microbiology
Home University: University of Victoria, Canada
“Of my top three choices, I liked the organization and (academic) choices offered at MUIC. When I was nine years old, my family visited Thailand on vacation. It was our one and only family vacation out of our home country. I believe that I never would have applied to my home university which is in Canada—with all the various restrictions and complications of studying abroad entails—if not for the pleasant experiences I had in Thailand. I decided to return here as a thank you. Thank you for showing me the world, a brave part of myself, and for the joyful memories I treasure to this day.”

“I chose MUIC because of its good quality academic offerings that are in English. This is important for me since I don’t speak much Thai. The courses, especially those in the Finance Major, align well with my academic background and my future career plans. I was also strongly influenced by the remarkable reviews I received from two friends in Germany, who spoke highly of the learning environment and the support they’ve received here. After reviewing several options myself, MUIC gave me the best overall impression with its academic program and campus life. Additionally, I also appreciate that the Salaya campus is close to Bangkok, making it easy to immerse myself in city life while still enjoying a more laid-back environment for studying.”
