The Volunteer Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized a 5-Day Camp from July 23 to 27, 2025 at Tan Sian School, Nong Kae, Saraburi province. It was an off-campus activity held at the end of every academic trimester.
There were 37 volunteers who participated in this noteworthy event. They helped build new facilities, including a Brain-Based Learning (BBL) center, benches, and a playground.
The MUIC student volunteers also conducted several learning activities, including English, Science, Guidance Counselling, and Geography.
This demonstrated the holistic approach of the camp, addressing both academic and practical aspects. The success of the camp was not only measured in the physical improvements to the school but also in the acquisition of essential soft and hard skills by the MUIC students.
Teamwork, leadership, creativity, and communication were highlighted as key areas where participants saw personal and collective growth. The Volunteer Club received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both the local community and student volunteers for the fun learning activities, infrastructure tasks and the friendships they formed during the camp.
