A faculty member of Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Fine and Applied Arts (FAA) Division was recently interviewed by the British Broadcasting Corp. (Thailand – BBC).

Dr. Nunnapan Puathanawat, Media and Communication Program Director, provided an in-depth analysis on the Thai government’s strategic communication during the recent Thai–Cambodian border incident. The article, posted on the BBC’s website on November 14, 2025, features perspectives from specialists in security and communication. Ajarn Nunnapan’s contribution included her views on the importance of timing, narrative framing, and unified messaging in fast-moving crises.

“My analysis focused on how early communication, consistent framing, and evidence-based messaging shape public understanding during international conflicts. The article also highlights the challenges governments face when information is fragmented or delayed, and why coordinated crisis communication structures are essential,” she explained.
