MUIC’s Student Association Celebrates Loy Krathong

To celebrate Loy Krathong, the Student Association of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized Late Light Loy Krathong Day on November 5, 2025 at the Ground Floor of Aditayathorn Building.

The event aimed to create a space where students from different backgrounds could experience and appreciate one of Thailand’s most meaningful traditions.

The activity featured a lively set of booths ran by students as well as selected food vendors from outside the campus. These added more variety and helped create a festive atmosphere filled with local flavors and fun experiences. In addition, several MUIC clubs joined the event by organizing games, workshops, and interactive activities that contributed to the joyful and engaging environment.

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to learn about the significance of Loy Krathong, participate in cultural activities, and enjoy a vibrant setting with music, decorations, and community spirit. With a total of 694 participants, the event successfully highlighted the unity, diversity, and cultural appreciation within MUIC.

Late Light Loy Krathong Day not only showcased the beauty of Thai heritage but also strengthened the connection among students, creating memorable experiences and fostering cultural understanding across the MUIC community.
