Mahidol University International College (MUIC) proudly congratulates three outstanding students for their remarkable achievements at the Young Rising Star of Science Awards 2025 (YRSS 2025), organized by the Science Society of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. The competition was held from November 11 to 13, 2025 at the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University.
Among the competitors, one MUIC student earned a gold medal, whiletwo others received silver medals, demonstrating exceptional academic potential and research excellence:
- Ms. Phavarisa Limchitti, ID 6480922, Computer Science major – Gold Medal
- Ms. Nattawadee Srikamhom, ID 6480129, Chemistry major – Silver Medal
- Ms. Chananchita Thanasansomboon, ID 6480365, Food Science and Technology major – Silver Medal
Each competitor presented their respective posters before the award’s panel of judges, with each panel their respective senior projects completed as part of the MUIC curriculum. The presentation included a brief overview on their senior projects and a Q&A session with the judges. After passing the initial round of poster presentations, the three MUIC students gave a 3-minute Powerpoint presentation to the panel of judges showcasing their understanding of their senior projects, followed by another Q&A session.
The Young Rising Star of Science Awards is meant to inspire students to pursue excellence in scientific and technological research, provide opportunities for them to present their work on international platforms, and recognize outstanding individuals who exemplify academic dedication and serve as role models for their peers.
MUIC extends its heartfelt congratulations to the award recipients and celebrates their dedication, perseverance, and contributions to advancing scientific innovation.
