MUIC Students Build Schools — and Skills — in 8-Day Camp

Thirty-eight students from Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Volunteer Club spent December 16–23, 2025 at Thairathwittaya 73 School in Ban Na, Nakhon Nayok, for an “8 Days Camp” focused on hands-on service. Volunteers helped construct new school facilities, including a Brain-Based Learning (BBL) classroom, a mushroom dome and a garden.

Beyond construction, the 38 participants ran learning activities—English and science lessons and guidance counselling—demonstrating the camp’s holistic blend of academic and practical support. Organizers say the experience was as much about personal growth as physical improvements: students reported gains in teamwork, leadership, creativity and communication.

Local staff and residents praised the visible campus upgrades and the energy volunteers brought. For many MUIC participants, the week delivered not only new facilities but lasting friendships and valuable soft and technical skills.
