On January 3, 2026, members of Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Rakkaew Club traded the city bustle for a refreshing escape to Bang Kachao, the lush oasis famously dubbed “Bangkok’s Green Lung.” The one-day trip offered 32 participants a perfect blend of creativity, cultural immersion, and natural beauty.

The day was filled with hands-on workshops where students unleashed their artistic flair, creating eco-friendly beaded bracelets and painting traditional khon mask fans. These activities provided a fun and approachable way to connect with Thai heritage. Later, the group explored the area’s scenic pathways by bicycle, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and visiting a vibrant floating market.
