Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Board Game Club hosted its highly anticipated “Board Game Night,” a lively event designed to encourage social interaction and teamwork among students, on October 15-16, 2025 at Room A449 Aditayathorn Building.
The event attracted a diverse group of participants who were eager to have fun playing a variety of engaging board games while meeting new people who have the same interests.
From classic games like “Catan” or “Twister” to new favorites like “Secret Hitler” or “Cards Against Humanity,” the event offered something for everyone, creating a relaxed environment where students could connect, collaborate, and enjoy each other’s company.
In addition to fostering new friendships, the event provided a platform for improving important skills such as strategic thinking and communication. As students navigated through challenging games, they honed their ability to think critically, make decisions under pressure, and effectively communicate with teammates. These skills, developed in a playful yet competitive setting, will undoubtedly benefit students both inside and outside of the classroom.
With a total of 112 participants, the relaxed atmosphere of Board Game Night also served as a great stress reliever, offering students a fun escape from their academic responsibilities. With the pressures of university life weighing heavily on many students, the event provided a welcome opportunity to unwind and recharge. The Board Game Club plans to host more events like this throughout the trimester, continuing to offer a space for students to relax, socialize, and grow together.
