Workshop Prepares Participants for Hackathon

The Hackathon Club (HAC) organized a workshop for 17 participating students on November 3, 2025 at A235 Exhibition Hall, 2nd Floor, Aditayathorn Building to develop their skills in preparation of the upcoming Hackathon competition.

The workshop opened with a lecture on “Pitching and Presentation Skills” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Michael Naglis of the Tourism and Hospitality Management Division. Throughout the lecture, participants learned techniques to deliver effective presentations and how to pitch their prototypes in the Hackathon competition.

The second activity was a lecture on “AI for Innovation” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Songpon Teerakanok of the Science Division. After the lecture, participants were randomly divided into groups to practice a mini-Hackathon to help them become familiar with using Hackathon tools to solve a problem in a limited time. Each group then presented its Hackathon prototype to the club members and other participants.

Overall, the workshop introduced the participants to the Hackathon process and enhanced their skills, such as presentation, pitching, and AI application for the Hackathon. These workshop activities would be a preparation for participants to perform in the upcoming Hackathon competition.
