Progression to master’s degree at Singapore Management University

Admission Criteria

For MUIC Graduates（within 4 years of graduation）

Admission to the SMU MITB Programme is based on the following terms which may be amended from time to time, as deemed appropriate by SMU based on current admission requirements of the SMU MITB Programme or as otherwise previously informed by SMU:

a MUIC undergraduate degree with GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent;
GMAT/ GRE or SMU Admissions Test score;
minimum IELTS score of 6.5, TOEFL score of 90;
an admission interview;
resume/cv;
personal statement;
recommendation letters;
requirement for two years of working experience will be waived

Graduation Criteria

To graduate, students will need to fulfil all required Course Units as stipulated by SMU’s MITB programme while maintaining a minimum CGPA of 2.5 every term to be awarded the SMU MITB degree.

Tuition Fee

The SMU MITB Programme Tuition fee for AY2023 is S$51,840 to S$ 52,320 (inclusive of GST) for completing 15 Course Units at SMU.
The GST rate in Singapore from 1st Jan 2023 is 8%, thus the computation of Tuition Fee in 2023 is S$48,000 x 1.08 = $51,840.
The GST rate in Singapore from 1st Jan 2024 is 9%, thus the computation of Tuition Fee in 2024 is S$48,000 x 1.09 = $52,320.
One-time application fee to SMU: SGD100 (inclusive of GST)
One-time registration fee to SMU: SGD500 (inclusive of GST)
SMU Admissions Test fee: SGD125 (inclusive of GST)
For the first enrolment of students, SMU will offer partial MITB tuition fee scholarship worth SGD4,000 to every successful candidate.

Note: Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a tax collected on behalf of the Singapore Government and will be charged at the prevailing rate.

There are two intakes each year，in August and January
