The Sigma Club of of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) took a bold step towards enriching both academic and leisure pursuits with its latest contest competition, “Sigma’s Academic Adventure: Wiki Wonderland Unveiled” held at Computer Room 1514, Old Building on October 30, 2023.

Designed as a prelude to the semestral break, this event was a dynamic fusion of learning and pleasure participated in by 11 students. Led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Athikun Suwannakhan, a distinguished MUIC alumnus, the first segment unfolded as a Wikipedia Training Session. Participants took a dive into the intricacies of Wikipedia, setting the stage for the ensuing adventure.

The second segment, an article contest on Wikivoyage, challenged the participants to research and write about places or related themes, allowing their creativity to flourish. This academic journey not only presented a personal challenge but also offered participants the chance to win well-deserved rewards.

Sigma Club said the unique blend of academia and adventure in its activities promises an engaging experience, providing a memorable transition into the upcoming semestral break.
