A team of students from Mahidol University international College (MUIC) have reached the semifinal round in Intania Business Competition (ICC) held on March 30, 2024 at Sasa Patasala Building (Sasin), Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.
The Joint Ventures 4 team is composed of four talented students with diverse business backgrounds:
1. Thayakorn Klintham (Major in International Business, Minor in Marketing)
2. Han Coridon Emery (Major in Finance, Minor in Business Economics)
3. Surasith Sarootsikan (Major in Marketing, Minor in Applied Data Science and Psychology)
4. Devya Shah (Major in Computer Science)
Following an evaluation process, Joint Ventures 4 was included among the 16 semi-finalists, remaining committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence and integrity as they advanced to the semi-final round.
Joint Ventures 4 had the privilege of participating in the 3rd year of this engineering case competition, an event known for its rigorous challenges and emphasis on innovative solutions.
Over the course of seven intense days, the competitors were tasked with analyzing and providing recommendations for the scalability issues surrounding EV motorbikes, as presented by the PTT Group. It was evident from the onset that addressing these challenges would necessitate leveraging cutting-edge technological solutions to effectively launch and sustain the desired output, as stipulated by the parameters of the case competition.
Drawing upon a diverse array of experiences and expertise, the team conducted a comprehensive research that involved surveys, and developed go-to-market strategies, contributing to the overall broad rationality of their proposal, which set them apart from other competing teams.
As Joint Ventures 4 prepared for the semi-finals, they are all set to build on their early success. With their mix of creative thinking, thorough research, and determination, they are ready to take on the challenges of the competition. But it is not just about being smart—it is also about working together as a team, having fun, and supporting each other. As they move forward, they are not just a group of competitors; they are like a family, sharing a commitment to teamwork, creativity, and honesty. And as they head into the next round, they are determined to make a lasting impression at the Intania Case Competition 2024, not just for themselves, but for everyone who has been cheering them on.
