Foreign Nationals Residing Outside of Thailand

Mahidol University International College’s academic calendar is based on a system of three trimesters – Trimester 1 (September-December), Trimester 2 (January-April) and Trimester 3 (April-July) – each running for 12 weeks. There is a brief summer session in August.

Admission Requirements

Due to the ongoing situation of COVID-19 in Thailand, MUIC will announce the Entrance Examination procedures on 30 April 2021.

  1.  A copy of your high school transcript (with English translation)
    • Applicants who take ‘AS’ Level and/or ‘A’ Level as a Private Candidate, must submit GCE ‘AS’ Level and/or GCE ‘A’ Level at least 3 different subjects, with minimum Grade of C. Applicants also have to submit an official high school transcript of grade 10 or its equivalence with at least 1 academic year OR
    • GED submission
      – Applicants taking the GED before April 1, 2021 must submit the total score of at least 600 with official high school transcript of grade 10 or its equivalence with at least 1 academic year.
      – Applicants taking the GED from April 1, 2021 onwards must submit the total score of at least 660.
  1. A certified copy of your high school diploma or its equivalent (with English translation)
  2. School Profile in English Version
  3. Three 1”x1” photographs
  4. Non-native English speaking applicants must submit official results from either the TOEFL iBT or Copy of IELTS Academic with at least 2 years’ validity

Step 3. The Placement Test

Test schedule
Once candidates have been officially accepted as full-time students, the English native speaking candidates, who do not submit either TOEFL iBT or IELTS score, are required to sit for the English writing placement test in order to determine their academic status.
