Airline Pilot and In-flight Manager in Career Talk

The THM Club held “Talk with Airline Pilot & Inflight Manager,” its last activity for Trimester 3/2020-2021, on June 15, 2021.

Students who are interested in a career in the airline industry attended the online event and learned much from the sharing of experiences of the guest speakers, Ms. Chanita Pokanantasuk, In-flight Manager at Thai Smile Airways and Ms. Wisa Benjapornchai, Pilot/First Officer at Nokscoot Airlines.

They both described problems they encountered in the course of their work and how they solved them. They also outlined the requirements a student has to fulfill before becoming a pilot or an in-flight manager. Equally important was a discussion on how Covid-19 has affected the airline industry and the speakers’ own careers.

After the talk there was a Q & A session and also a Kahoot game where the top 5 winners each received a Starbucks Gift Card with a value of 800 Baht, 700 Baht, 600 Baht, 500 Baht, and 400 Baht, respectively.
