In order to help raise awareness about marine conservation, Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Animal Lovers Club organized “Dear You” activity on June 15, 2023 at the Screening Room, 5th Floor, Aditayathorn Building.

Since World Ocean Day falls on June, “Finding Dory” was the movie chosen for the screening. The 44 participating students followed the story of a forgetful fish on a journey through the ocean to find her long-lost parents. The absolutely adorable tale this movie told was sure to capture the hearts of all those watching and give them pause to think about the actions we take as human beings on wildlife.

This activity also featured a lucky draw and questions so that participants could win tote bags.

Other participating students were also given the chance to win a prize by submitting the best reflection or what they had taken away from the heartwarming movie. The winners for best reflection were given cat cafe tickets to go play with cats in their free time.

At the end of the activity, the students were able to take away not only a warm loving feeling in their hearts but also a thought on marine conservation.
