The Animal Lovers Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized a trip to Catsanova, an adoptable cat cafe located in Bangkok, on March 8, 2024.

As a result, the 15 participating students were able to learn much about cats and were able to get an idea of the size of the stray cat population in Thailand. Since the cafe was small, participants were divided into three groups and went to go see the cats in rounds while the other two groups had lunch.

This activity was meant to spread awareness about the cat population and hopefully to dispel misconceptions about how cats do not need as much attention or care as dogs. The visit to Catsanova allowed students who were considering to adopt a cat to be able to experience and understand the requirements and basic steps of care required for a new pet cat.

It was also a relaxing activity for the students who wanted to wind down from their midterm exams by spending time in a small cafe with adorable companions.
