In recognition of the wide range of pathways students can take to enter the healthcare field, regardless of their major, Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Biological Science Program recently launched “Career in Healthcare Series.”
“Session 1: What are my options and how do I get there?” took place on October15, 2024 at Room A303, Aditayathorn Building with Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, MD as guest speaker and 16 participants.
“Session 2: Alumni in CU-MEDi” was held on November 14, 2024. Asst. Prof. Dr. Tumnoon Charaslertrangsi, Program Director of Biological Sciences, welcomed Danaithep Limskul, MD, Lecturer of Chulalongkorn International Medical Program (CU-MEDi), and Mr. Tanapat Sathapornsermsuk, an MUIC ICBI alumnus currently in the CU-MEDi Program, to promote the joint CU-MEDi program, presenting an overview of the program and admission requirements and sharing resources for MCAT preparation, followed by an engaging Q&A session at Room A302, Aditayathorn Building. There were 16 students who attended the session.
Sessions 3, 4, and 5 are tentatively set in February, March, and May next year, respectively, with more details to be announced later.
