Chiba Staff Exchange Program at PC

The Preparation Center for Languages and Mathematics (PC) welcomed Chiba University staff members, Ms. Saori Mizuno and Ms. Saki Hirano, who participated in the Chiba Staff Exchange Program from September 16 to October 4, 2024. The program aimed to foster cross-cultural collaboration and professional growth between the universities. It also provided a valuable professional opportunity for staff members to share their work experiences and best practices.

From September 16 – 20, the Chiba staff participated in various activities at PC, including the New PC Student Orientation for Q4/2024, campus tours, and an introduction to PC work practices, (overview, admissions, student welfare, and international student services). They also participated in class observations in PC2, PC3, and PC4 classes. Additionally, the Chiba staff attended the “MUIC Accreditation Showcase 2024” on September 27, where director Joseph Serrani presented PC’s NEAS accreditation and outcomes.

The exchange not only benefited the Chiba University staff, but also provided PC staff and teachers with new insights and opportunities to share best professional practices across departments and countries. This program enhanced participants’ understanding of workflows and the roles of its units while strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the partner universities.
