E-Sport Club Holds Online Tournament

E-Sport Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized “The Overwatch 2 Tournament Online” on June 28 - July 7, 2023 where teams competed head-to-head in a round-robin, best-of-three series.

A total of 32 students competed in this tournament, the rules of which are based on Overwatch World Cup Trial – Germany, allowing teams to showcase their adaptability and strategic versatility. Matches consisted of three game modes: Control, Escort, and Hybrid, with randomized maps adding excitement and forcing teams to think on their feet.

Each winning match earned a team one point, emphasizing the importance of consistent performance. At the end of the tournament, the team with the highest total points will be crowned the winner. This format provides an intense and engaging environment for teams to demonstrate their skills, adjust their strategies, and showcase their proficiency across different game modes and map types.
