I am truly honored and thrilled by the opportunity to share my insights and experiences from participating in the MUIC Career Roadmap’s EP.1 Resume Power-Up and EP.2 The Ultimate Mock Interview Challenge. This transformative journey not only provided me with invaluable tools but also imparted profound lessons that I am eager to share.
Through the resume power-up session, I discovered the significance of crafting a compelling and tailored resume that encapsulates my strengths and experiences effectively. Understanding the importance of aligning my skills with the company’s values has been pivotal in my preparation.
Moreover, the ultimate mock interview challenge was an enlightening experience that sharpened my interview skills. I learned the art of articulating my strengths confidently while embracing and working on my weaknesses as opportunities for growth.
The most valuable lesson I gained was the realization that self-awareness is the cornerstone of personal and professional development. This event enabled me to introspect, identify my strengths, acknowledge areas for improvement, and develop strategies for continuous growth.
I am deeply grateful for the enriching experience provided by the MUIC Career Roadmap. I look forward to capturing the milestone of receiving the prize and sharing this impactful journey through a photo to inspire fellow students on the college’s communication channels.

Participating in the MUIC Career Roadmap, specifically the EP.1 Resume Power-Up and Interview Pro Tips and EP.2 The Ultimate Mock Interview Challenge, has been transformative.
Under the guidance of Resubae in EP.1, I learned the crucial art of meticulous resume preparation and effective interviewing techniques. However, it was the real interview experience in EP.2 with Deloitte Consulting SEA’s talent acquisition that truly defined the roadmap for me. From the pre-interview to stepping into the interview room and engaging with the talent acquisition, every moment was a valuable learning experience. Each question posed provided insights into my abilities and allowed me to discover more about myself. This practical encounter has equipped me with indispensable knowledge for navigating future interviews.
I wholeheartedly recommend this program to others, as the hands-on experience goes beyond classroom teachings, offering a unique opportunity for personal growth and self-improvement. The MUIC Career Roadmap has undeniably broadened my perspective on career readiness and has been an invaluable step toward my professional development.

MUIC Career Roadmap is one of the most helpful preparations the university has provided for me, who will significantly need knowledge and understanding on how to write a formal resume to get a chance to get an interview in the business world. The Resume Power-Up and Interview Pro Tips event gives pick-up resume writing tips and tricks from professionals who provided me with valuable samples and instructions to include in my resume. Additionally, it helps me to know what to do and what not to do when writing the resume and when attending an interview.
The Ultimate Mock Interview Challenge event is an excellent opportunity to gain a new experience that will be useful in the future. This event allowed me to get a chance to interview with the human resources staff from a large and well-known company in each industry. It is a great way to practice interviewing and gain knowledge of companies’ standards and criteria for choosing talented candidates for internal positions.
Also, thank you for this valuable opportunity, and I encourage MUIC students to participate in this event in the future since it is both enjoyable and challenging. You will find it very helpful in the future for writing resumes and interview questions for your career.

I have been impressed with Workshop 1 which helped me power up my resume. The guest speaker, who was very experienced, taught me much how to improve my resume. This workshop also gave me an insight on the techniques of interviewing. That was my first time learning about how to prepare myself for an interview. What I have learned in Workshop 1 was very new to me and it cannot be found in a regular course in university.
For Workshop 2, I would like to thank you for choosing me for the mock interview. I used the lessons I had learned from Workshop 1 when I underwent the mock interview. I really gained valuable experience from this experience which helped improve my skills and prepare myself for the real interview. The HR team I talked to was very supportive and professional. They gave me suggestions and recommendations on the kind of work my academic background and skills would fit in.
As I am seeking an internship, this workshop helped me to get through it, and made me realize that it can indeed be used in a real situation.
Lastly, I really appreciate and would like to thank MUIC Career Development that provided me this great opportunity to help me pursue my career path.
