A team of Media and Communication students own the top prize in the recently held “Multimedia Creation Idea and Contest #2.

The Soi 8PM team composed of Mr. Chinatorn Boonvaraporn, Mr. Chinapat Likitawong, Ms. Onnicha Apivisankij, Mr. Narat Kongmuanpech, Ms. Chanyachita Phoomipak and Ms. Thanyathorn Ekpoothorn also won the popular vote for their video “Overwrite” during the awarding ceremony held on May 8, 2019 at the Mini Theater, Mahidol Learning Center, Mahidol University.

Organized by the MU Graduate Student Council, the contest had the theme “Change Yourself for Our University.”

This video was inspired by a true story. One of the group members changed himself from being someone who just studied all day to someone who can balance his time and devote time to his loved ones. The team members said this inspired them to create the video so that they can share this story with anyone who is in the same situation. He is now a representative of the Mahidol University Esports team which won 3rd  Place in the Overwatch Thailand University Tournament 2018.
