Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Investment Club held “Investment Club Episode 1: Investing 101” on January 25, 2024.

Thirty-three students who were interested in learning about the fundamentals of investing showed up to the event. The club’s president, Mr. Pakpoom Meprasert, whose major is Marketing, used his expertise to give everyone an overview of investments, stocks and the risks one could suffer when making a bad investment.

Towards the end of the session, students used an application called Streaming Click2win, where students were able to buy and sell stocks similar to the real world, but by using simulated money. Overall, students were able to network among fellow participants and had a lot to take away from the event. The club said it hopes to see more people joining its activities in the future.
