MUIC Signs 2nd MOU with University of Bristol

A delegation from the University of Bristol (UOB) in the UK visited Mahidol University International College (MUIC) on October 15, 2019 as the two institutions signed their second MUIC-UOB collaboration agreement.

The project involves a pathway progression arrangement to University of Bristol’s Master’s (MSc) program for MUIC students in 13 majors.

After a formal welcome by Assoc. Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, Prof. Dr. Agnes Nairn of UOB’s School of Economics and Faculty of Social Sciences and Law gave a special lecture on the topic, “Wanting and Wellbeing: Our Children in the Commercial World” at Charinyarasami Hall, Aditayathorn Building.

After the lecture, Prof. Nairn met with MUIC students for an information session about applying for graduate degree programs at UOB. It was also learned that as a result of the partnership between MUIC and UOB, MUIC students who have achieved a GPA of at least 3.0 in their undergraduate study can enjoy certain privileges when they apply for UOB.

In the afternoon, the UOB delegates met with the Dean for the MOU signing ceremony.
