MUIC Student Participates in DCU Global Youth Camp

A student from Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Intercultural Studies and Languages Program (ICIC) participated in the DCU Global Youth Camp 2024 from January 7 to 12, 2024.

Ms. Zoe Morrison, a junior ICIC student, participated in the camp in the Diversity and Inclusiveness module. She said that she enjoyed learning about new aspects of culture as well as the site visit to the Black Tai community in Phetchaburi province. “It was an amazing week filled with many experiences that cannot be found in the classroom,” she said.

Organized by Mahidol University’s International Relations Division in collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), the event attracted over 90 participants from 10 different countries.

The camp was divided into four different modules which are Diversity and Inclusiveness, Financial Literacy and Economic Growth—which was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kaewta Muangasame, a faculty member from the Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) Division; Biology and Environment and Cybersecurity and AI.
