Ms. Prajawal Bhosale, a student in the International Business program, received the “Best Position Paper” and “Best Delegate” awards at the WHO Simulation 2021 Thailand Conference held online on September 26, 2021.

Over 70 participants across Thailand participated in this event. Each of them represented specific countries and organizations at the conference. Ms. Bhosale represented India.

She said that her participation in this conference—facilitated through MUIC—helped enhance her knowledge about the state of Covid-19 vaccination worldwide. Her research for her position paper also taught her a lot of things about the current Covid-19 health infrastructure in India.

The conference enabled participants to discuss particular topics including vaccine racism, transparency in pandemic protocols, liberty on the choice of vaccines and promoting awareness.

Later on, the participants successfully passed a resolution addressing the topic “Vaccine Disparity: No One is Safe Until Everyone is Safe."
