MUIC Students Reach Semi-finals in Thailand Macro Business Simulation Match

Three 2nd Year students from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) who comprise Team No Mayonnaise Please made it to the semi-final round of the Thailand Macro Business Simulation (MBS) Competition 2024. Hosted by Chiang Mai Business School, the event showcased their impressive skills in strategic business management.

On February 24, 2024, over 300 participants from 14 prestigious universities across Thailand converged for the Thailand MBS competition at Chiang Mai Business School, Chiang Mai, Thailand. This platform empowered them to hone their business acumen, crafting virtual companies from inception. Through immersive market simulations, financial literacy boot camps, and mentorship workshops, participants embarked on a journey towards entrepreneurial mastery, navigating a dynamic landscape of opportunities.

Aside from developing their abilities in sales, marketing, product development, manufacturing, and finance, MBS participants gained real-world experience in managing virtual enterprises.

In their capacity as management, they assessed performance using a variety of factors, including net present value, profit margin, market share, and more, in order to attain the maximum score possible on the balanced scorecard.
