Two thesis projects by students from the Communication Design Program of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) were selected for exhibition during Bangkok Design Week 2020 to be held on February 1-9, 2020 at the Grand Central Post Office Building on Charoen Krung Road in Bangkok.
Ms. Karntida Pitimana-Aree’s project entitled “Tumorrow” entails beautifully rendered illustrations of tumor cells to show a different way of looking at cancer in the hope of addressing the fear associated with this disease.
The other project, “Swing Notation” by Mr. Chisanupong Tanateerasawat, involves a dancical notation system designed to record swing dance movements. This year’s theme is “Resilience: New Potential for Living.”
The students’ entries were selected from hundreds of applicants.
