A year had passed after the 1st MU Volleyball League. Here we are again; MUIC Volleyball Club sent representative teams to participate in the 2nd Volleyball League at MU Sports Complex on  September 18 - 28, 2023. A total of two boys’ teams were submitted into the league by MUIC club. Even though we did not have enough players for the girls’ team and only half the number of participants from last year. The representative teams did achieve incredible results in the MU Volleyball League.

This year, a total of two boys’ teams were submitted from various faculties into the league. Divided into four brackets, namely, A, B, C, and D with three teams per bracket. Team MUIC1 was in the D bracket and MUIC2 was in the C bracket. Both teams achieved 1 win and 1 loss. But in a twist of fate, MUIC1 and MUIC2 ended up facing off against each other in the quarter finals, resulting in MUIC2 finishing in the Top 8 teams and MUIC1 qualifying for the semifinals.

In the semifinals, MUIC1 faced off against MUKA, a team which consisted of 3-4 Mahidol Volleyball representative athletes from the Sports Science Faculty. Even though MUIC’s representatives had tried its best, the MUKA team eventually won the tournament, making MUIC1 finish in the Top 4 in the second MU Volleyball League.
