Science Society Club’s New Season of Science Podcast

Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Science Society Club wrapped up the 1st  Trimester of Academic Year 2023 – 2024 with three episodes of Science Podcast on December 3, 2023.  The topics were: “Cats vs Dogs,” “How to Study More Effectively,” and “Northern Lights and Seasonal Affective Disorder.”

The first episode, “Cats vs Dogs,” was hosted by Mr. Wachirawit Yeamsansuk and Mr. Austin Maddison, both from the Computer Science program. It was about the history of the domestication of both species and how they help out humans in their daily lives.

The second episode, “How to Study More Effectively,” was hosted by Ms. Pusanisa Jarusiripat and Mr. Voravit Srikuruwal, who are also from the Computer Science program. The podcast episode was about the different techniques and approaches that students can take in order to better prepare for their exams.

The third and last episode of the term, “Northern Lights and Seasonal Affective Disorders,” was hosted by Ms. Parichamon Banluthangtham and Ms. Sidaporn Thepmongkorn, both from the Biological Science program. It was about how the northern lights were formed and how they are related to people’s mental health.

The Science Society Club expressed its gratitude to all its podcast listeners and all the feedback it received. The club said it hopes the audience enjoyed all the podcast episodes.
