Student Orgs in MUIC Conduct Self-love Seminar

Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Student Association (also known for its Thai acronym SMO) and International Student Committee organized a seminar entitled “I am Unloved” at Charinyarasami Hall, in Aditayathorn Building on November 21, 2023.

The 46 participating students were given the platform to unlock, explore and delve deeper into the world of self-care and connecting with themselves.

The seminar had two guest speakers, Ajarn Barbara Ekamp from the Humanities and Languages Division, who spoke about the philosophy of self-love. The second speaker was Ms. Tanisha Abrol, a 4th Year Biological Science student.

Along with inspirational talks, there was a “Throw Away Your Worries” activity where participants wrote down their worries on a sheet of paper and then threw them away. There were also ice-breaking activities after which the main activities were held which included a discussion of opinions about self-love and writing a love letter to themselves.
