Training for New Officers of Student Association and Clubs

The Office of Student Affairs of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) held an online training session for Student Association and student club officers on September 3, 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm via Zoom.

Assoc. Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, gave the welcome message. The five main speakers in this event were Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayanant Hongfa, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, who talked about empathetic leadership; Asst. Prof. Dr. Phuvadol Thanakiatkrai, an associate professor in genetics at the Forensic Science Program, Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University, who gave a short lecture entitled “Looking In, Looking Out” which was about the three main processes that apply to teamwork; and three MUIC staff from the Corporate Communication Section who discussed digital media, social media marketing, and how to be a content creator, specifically how to write news stories.

The Office of Student Affairs said more than 130 participants learned much from this online training, adding that it will be useful and can be applied in their future work.
