MUIC’s Communication Design Program (CDP) is a studio-based program that combines creative practice with acquisition of theoretical knowledge, as well as a strong background in general education. The coursework stresses hands-on experience, practical and constructive application of critical thinking skills and the effective communication of innovative ideas. Class sizes are small and dedicated instructors work closely with students to ensure favorable outcomes. With an international mindset, students engage in projects that focus on current issues, employing design solutions that factor in sustainability and also have the potential to benefit society. As CDP has been operating successfully since 2009, many students have received international and national awards for their design work. With an emphasis in preparing students to work in the professional industry, alumni of the program utilize their skills in a variety of areas of design and advertising in Thailand and abroad, and many have continued their studies at the master’s level in top university programs worldwide.
