Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Cycling Club organized a day-long cycling at Rot Fai Park on February 25, 2024.

Various activities at the park kept the students preoccupied. The day-long cycling gave them the chance to exercise actively, regularly, and safely, as well as to assist them in establishing connections with one another. Not only did full-time MUIC students join, but also exchange students, bringing the total number of participants to 15.

The trip started with riding around the garden (with an estimated distance of 3 km). Then the group visited the Bangkok Butterfly Garden and Insectarium (อุทยานผีเสื้อและแมลง) to experience a captivating world of fluttering wings, fascinating insects, flowers, and plants. The Bang Sue Environmental Education and Conservation Center’s (ศูนย์การศึกษาและอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมบางซื่อ) lush green spaces and eco-friendly initiatives were explored by the student riders.

The club said the event proved to be a great opportunity for everyone. Despite the hot weather, students got to know better their new friends, spent time exploring communities and nature, and were able to get some exercise.
