The Volunteer Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized a 5-day Volunteer Camp starting on July 24, 2023 for MUIC students in picturesque Prachinburi province.

The volunteers—numbering 45 students—helped build new facilities at Wat Pak Nam School. These included Brain-Based Learning sites (BBL), a playground, and a waste removal facility. They also conducted some learning activities including English, science, and career preparation classes, arts and crafts and others.

These initiatives made a mark in the daily lives of the students and teachers of Wat Pak Nam School.

The MUIC students also acquired valuable soft and hard skills in teamwork, leadership, creativity, hand-eye coordination, and much more. Even as the students worked diligently on their tasks, the Volunteer Club organized group-bonding activities and provided meals to ensure the students have the energy to sustain themselves throughout the five days.

The Volunteer Club said it received astonishing feedback, with many participants expressing their enjoyment of the activities and the friendships they made during their exciting adventures together.
