The following is a list of components you will need to apply for admission to our MBA 4+1 Program, including admission requirements, application process, and application components.

When to Apply

Mahidol University International College’s academic calendar is based on a system of three trimesters – Trimester 1 (September-December), Trimester 2 (January-April) and Trimester 3 (April-July) – each running for 12 weeks.

How to Apply

Requirement

Criteria for admission

Applicants to the MBA 4+1 program should:

  • Be a current bachelor student at Mahidol University International College (MUIC).
  • Complete at least 2/3 of the total number of credits required for a bachelor program with CGPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • Have an approval from the student’s academic advisor and Program Director of the bachelor program the student is studying by submitting this form to International Graduate Studies Office.
  • Have one of the following Mathematics tests; GMAT within 5 years on the application date, or MUIC-QPT arranged by MUIC. For more information regarding to MUIC-QPT, please contact International Graduate Studies Office.

Remark: Submission of Mathematics test is exempted for bachelor students who are studying in a Business Administration (BA) program, Mahidol University International College.

Required documents

  • Two (2) of original official transcript;
  • Two (2) of original certificate of student status (with expected Graduation date)
  • One (1) copy of Mathematics test report (if required);
  • Two (2) copy of citizen identification card (for Thais) or passport (for foreign nationals);
  • Two (2) copy of house registration;
  • Two (2) 2-inch photos taken within the last 6 months;

Remark: All copies of required documents must be signed and certified.

 

Statement of purpose (MBA 4+1 Admission)

For Trimester 1/2020 – 2021, the following two essays are required of all applicants as part of the admission process:

  • Please state reasons for undertaking graduate work and a relation to your undergraduate study/current employment and professional goals. (450 words)
  • The COVID 19 pandemic is having global repercussions, resulting in major health and economic issues. Describe how businesses (both large and small) in many countries in the world have been affected economically: and the way that various governments have tried to tackle these problems. How do you think Thailand will be affected by the global economic issues that the COVID 19 pandemic is causing? (Not less than 500 words)

Length and Format: 12-point Times New Roman, single-spaced. Include your full name, application ID and the proposed program of study at the top of every pages.

Step 4. Submit the statement

Submit a statement of purpose in a pdf format to the email: icgrad@mahidol.ac.th. Please use the guideline to shape your essay.

Step 5. Qualification

All qualified applicants will be invited to do MUIC-QPT (if required), and an Interview.
