The Animal Lovers Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) held a competition dubbed “The Star is Born” that ran from May 6 to 28, 2023. Contestants were required to submit short videos of their pets showing them in candid moments.

The club said, “These video clips show the true personalities of each participant’s pets. The previously-unseen adorable nature of each individual pet was bound to capture the attention of all those who watched and it also showed that animals can have vastly different personalities just like people. Music was also added to the edited videos to help convey the tone and make for fun and light-hearted viewing, where even those who don't consider themselves to be an 'animal lover' would be able to enjoy and appreciate.”

Six students joined the contest and the entry of Ms. Ramida Goorojanawong, an International Business student, was chosen as the “Best Video.” The winner received a commemorative keychain as prize.
