Business administration alumna wins prestigious marking award

Ms. Monica “Diana” Singh, a Marketing alumna from the Class of 2011, won recently the Asia Youth-Women-Netizen Marketing Excellence Award 2019 under its “Asia’s Top Outstanding Youth Marketeer of the Year” category.
Ms. Singh, who is Managing Director and Founder of G.M.L. Group Co., Ltd., was selected by the Marketing Association of Thailand as the country’s representative to the international competition that was held on July 20, 2018 in Bali, Indonesia. On September 20, 2018, the winners were announced which included Ms. Singh. She will attend the awarding ceremony in March 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In a letter to Ms. Singh, Mr. Rohan Somawansa, President, Asia Marketing Federation, the organizer of the awards event, said, “The Asia Marketing Federation is pleased to recognize your excellent achievements and innovative marketing strategies, tactics and values and how these elements have impacted your industry and community and how these resulted in positive sales and net income growth. This award reflects your excellence in marketing and the admirable qualities of versatility, innovativeness, and infallible growth.”
Asia Marketing Federation (AMF) positions itself as the foremost governing body of marketing in the Asia. It annually gives recognition to the youth, women, and netizens in Asia who excel in the field of marketing. It recognizes their outstanding and innovative marketing strategies, tactics and values, and how these elements result in sales growth, market share growth and net income growth.
