Military Service Postponement

1) Male students of Thai nationality who reach the age of 20

2) Not pass in the 3rd year of ROTC Training Course

3) Age not over 26 years old

4) Students who have formerly processed Military Conscription Postponement are required to submit a request again after being Mahidol University student.

Students who request postponement of their Military Recruitment must submit the appropriate legal documents to the Office of Student Affairs from July 1 to October 31 of every year.

Legal documents for postponing military recruitment:
  • The excessive troop document (สด. 9) 3 copies (front and back pages)
  • The calling in duty document (สด. 35) 3 copies (front and back pages)
  • The residential document 3 copies
  • Student ID. Card 3 copies
  • ID. Card 3 copies
  • Certificate of Student Status (Thai version) 1 original + 2 copies * with 1 inch photo (in student uniform with necktie)
  • – Name Change Document (if any) 3 copies
  • The residency transfer document (if any) 3 copies

Students can submit the documents and get more information about the Military Service Postponement at Student Affairs Office, Room 1100, 1st Floor, MUIC Building 1. Service hour from Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or call 02-700-5000 ext. 1210 or email to: icsa@mahidol.ac.th
