The Humanities and Language Division (HLD) organized two lectures recently. On October 8, 2019, Mrs. Vesna Rodic, Resident Director of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), Thailand Office was the guest speaker. She gave a lecture on the work of FES in Asia particularly in the areas of feminism, gender, and socio-economic transformation.
Two days later, Prof. Dr. Georg Gesk of the University of Osnabrueck in Germany discussed two topics, namely, “Artificial Neural Networks and Social Governance” and “Anthropology – How Autonomous is Man?”
Both lectures, organized by Mrs. Barbara Ekamp—a faculty member of HLD’s Humanities Program—were held at the Seminar Room.
