HLD’s Humanities Program Organizes Two Lectures

The Humanities and Language Division (HLD) organized two lectures recently. On October 8, 2019, Mrs. Vesna Rodic, Resident Director of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), Thailand Office was the guest speaker. She gave a lecture on the work of FES in Asia particularly in the areas of feminism, gender, and socio-economic transformation.

Two days later, Prof. Dr. Georg Gesk of the University of Osnabrueck in Germany discussed two topics, namely, “Artificial Neural Networks and Social Governance” and “AnthropologyHow Autonomous is Man?

Both lectures, organized by Mrs. Barbara Ekamp—a faculty member of HLD’s Humanities Program—were held at the Seminar Room.
