MUIC Executives Attend AALAU 2019

Assoc. Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., Dean of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), led a team of college executives who attended the Annual Presidents’ Forum of the Alliance of Asian Liberal Arts Universities (AALAU) at Lingnan University, Hong Kong on October 23-24, 2019.

Established in 2017, AALAU is a network of respectable liberal arts universities in Asia, each member sharing common values, a global vision and a commitment to educating future leaders. This year, MUIC participated for the first time as an alliance member.

During the annual meetings, representatives of the member institutions work together to identify major issues and challenges with reference to international best practices in higher education, search for innovative approaches to liberal arts education and collaborate in addressing new challenges and opportunities in liberal arts education.

Accompanying the Dean were Dr. Chompunuch Pongjit, Associate Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Alexander Nanni, Associate Dean for International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Patsarin Rodpothong Wongkamhang, Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs, and Dr. Ruchi Agarwal, Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs.
